HARVEY – Lawrence Wayne, age 71, of Mount Uniacke, passed away at home on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Born in Gormanville on March 31, 1946, he was a son of the late Ernest “Ern” and Maggie Harvie. Lawrence served in the military from 1966 to 1967. He retired as a mechanic for Kelly’s Trucking in Lower Sackville. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Sandra; son, Wayne and daughter-in-law Amanda, Edmonton, Alta; daughter, Robin, Mount Uniacke; grandchildren, Lauren, Finn, and Carys; siblings, Sarah, Victor, Burrel, Glenroy, Byntis, and Myrtis; and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by his sister-in-law Mary Harvie and brothers-in-law Rollie White, Curry Clark, and Lawrence Crowe. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request; a memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 2pm at North Noel Road Cemetery, No. 4 Old Hwy 354, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating, with a reception to follow at Green Hall.
