Obituary of Ralph Andrews

Andrews, Ralph Leslie, C2 Retired - 84, of Halifax passed away quietly on Saturday October 13, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Ralph was born in Bedford, N.S. on October 15, 1927 and was the son of the late Albert and Minnie (Flowerday) Andrews. Ralph was predeceased by his daughter, Cindy and two brothers Clinton and Leonard. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Renee, his daughter Leslie (Cow Bay), Rick (Thelma) Sherbrooke Lake, Greg (Calgary), and Keith (Jo) of East Gore; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Edward, Frank, and sister Dorothy. Ralph was a quiet man who enjoyed his family and he loved to read. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 20, 2012 at 2PM in West Gore Cemetery, West Gore. Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officating. Memorial donations may be made to NS Lung Association and or NS Red Cross. Special thanks to Veterans Affairs and the VON. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
