DEARMAN - Lloyd Watson Joseph, age 76, of Woodville, Hants County, passed away on July 27, 2016 at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Upper Newport on February 7, 1940, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Mary (Wright) Dearman. Lloyd was a lineman for many years, working for NS Power and K-Line Construction, Ontario. In 1977, Lloyd became President of Atlantic Pole Lines 1977 Ltd. He owned the company for 39 years. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Fletcher); sons, Lloyd, Lockhartville; Mark (Tracy Keddy), Brooklyn; and Robert, Hatchet Lake; daughters, Janet, Ellershouse; and Suzanne (Stephen) Farrell, Hatchet Lake; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Lewis, Amherst, N.S.; and sisters, Mary Maude, Welland, Ont.; and Pauline, Moncton, N.B. Besides his parents, Lloyd was predeceased by his brother, David. Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by request. Private family interment at Newport Landing Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Lloyd may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 5826 South St, Halifax, NS B3H 1S6.
