Obituary of Leslie "Les" Hill

HILL - Leslie Martell, age 54, of Kennetcook, passed away suddenly at home on September 15, 2016. Born in Kennetcook on February 21, 1962, he was a son of Jean (Ettinger) Harvey and the late Arnold Hill. Les had a love for old and fast cars, especially his 1975 Chevelle. He loved to watch movies and have lunch with his late Aunt Shirl, who he thought of as a second mom. Les was a well-liked person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rest in peace, Les, until we meet again. Besides his mother, Les is survived by his sister, Bonny (Leigh) Patterson, East Walton; brothers, Steven (Gail) Hill, Noel Shore; and Gregory (Robyn) Withrow, Truro. Besides his father, Les was predeceased by his brother, Jeffery Harvey. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside committal service will be held at the Kennetcook Cemetery on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2pm, Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officiating. Donations in memory of Les may be made to the Kennetcook Cemetery c/o Marlene Cochrane, 6124 Hwy 354, Kennetcook, NS B0N 1P0. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
