Obituary of Gertrude "Louise" Carman

CARMAN - Gertrude Louise (Millett), age 93, of Bible Hill, formerly of Pembroke, passed away on January 15, 2017 at Vimy Court, Bible Hill. Born in Pembroke on October 4, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Carrie (Wheadon) Millett, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Louise loved to cook, play cards, and go grocery shopping. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine (Coleman) Munro; son Blair (Mary-Dean); daughter-in-law Florence; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and siblings, she was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Glendon "Glen", and son Dale. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request; a private family committal will be held at Pembroke Cemetery at a later date.
