Obituary of Kathleen "Kaye" Lane

LANE - Kathleen Florence Beth, age 82, of Riverside Corner, passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Everett and Ethel (MacDonald) Bishop. Some of Kaye's greatest enjoyments were gardening, baking, puzzles, crafts, sightseeing, and birdwatching. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Kathy (Eric), Heather (Chris), Robyn, Fern (Ken), and April (Brad); son, Greg; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ernie, Carol, Wayne, Ronnie, and Eileen; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; brothers, Wilfred and Wallace; and sister, Laura. Cremation has taken place, with a private family interment at a later date. A family gathering in Kaye's honor at her home will be on Saturday, April 22 from 2-4pm. Special thanks to the East Hants Palliative Care team and VON.
