Obituary of Ryan David Saunders

SAUNDERS – Ryan David, age 52, of Walton, passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2017 after battling cancer for much of his life. Born in Halifax on October 28, 1964, he was a son of the late Laurie Saunders and Lee Tobin. Music was Ryan’s life; he was a drummer in various bands including Tails of a Dime, and was sought after for his skills repairing violins. Ryan is survived by the love of his life, Sandra Sanford; his beloved cat, Cuddles; his dog and best buddy, Frodo; and his nephew, Chesley Saunders. Besides his parents, Ryan was predeceased by his sister, Leota Ruth; brother, Gordie; and grandparents, Hattie and John Saunders. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request; a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Special thanks to Terry and Marilyn Wutzke for all their help and for bringing food, and to Jesse Griffith for his care and kindness.
