Obituary of Henry Allen Beach

BEACH – Henry Allen, age 80, of Upper Kennetcook, passed away at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on July 31, 2017. Born in Clarksville on April 21, 1937, he was a son of the late Maurice and Lotta (Ells) Beach. Henry spent his working life in drilling and blasting, and enjoyed hunting in earlier years. An avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays, Henry loved to play his guitar, and was known to enjoy the odd shot of whiskey as his “pick-me-up”. Henry is survived by his children, Allen (Ellen), Lynn (Robin) Miller, Karen (Lawrence Ettinger), Jean (Trent White), and Valerie; grandchildren, Kimberly (Mike) Cutt, Michael and Ryan Conley, Cody and Vanessa White, and Shauna Miller; many great-grandchildren; sisters Janie, Vera, and Mabel; brother Clyde; and many nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his wife, Mildred “Millie” (Dickson) Beach in 2012, and many siblings. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 11am at the North Noel Road Cemetery, David Danahar LLWL officiating.
