Obituary of James "Andy" Andrew White

WHITE – James Andrew “Andy”, age 68, of North Noel Road, passed away on November 12, 2017 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in North Noel Road, he was the son of the late Chester and Letitia (White) White. Andy worked in construction much of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes, and driving around with Jake, and loved a game of cards. Andy is survived by his daughters, Shauna and Brandy; his grandchildren, Brendan, Hayden, and Alex; sisters, Isabel, Phyllis, and Donna (Jerry MacPhee); brothers, Wilmot “Whiz”, Joe (Cathy), Willis (Erma), Gerald “Jake”, and Allister (Winnie); and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Andy was predeceased by his companion, Barb MacLellan; sisters, Wanetta, Ethel, Lucy, and Bertha and Laura in infancy; brothers, Keith, Elmer, and Howard, and Laurie in infancy. Cremation has taken place; visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15 from 6-8pm at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook, with a private committal at a later date.
