Our sincere condolences from the Cochrane family. Janice will be missed by so many people. Once Janice completely retired she would share some of her home cooking with Hazel. Janice will be missed. She always had a friendly chat ready when dropping off flyers. We both had hoped our pups would become friends and although they got along Sasha couldn't get past Chilleigh's leash during outdoor play. Janice welcomed me into the Minasville community and I am thankful to have shared a chat, a laugh and or a conversation with her. She was brave in her cancer battle, I am sorry it won. I first met Janice who I always just called Jan walking my four legged little friend called Snoopy, and he kept pulling me to meet this new welcoming stranger who was holding a treat for my Dog and our first conversations were all about Dogs and how much Dogs loved her in the community and that she could never pass up an opertunity to meet a new fury friend, from there after not only my Snoopy made a friend but I did also, She was a unique personality and could put things in perspective pretty quickly and always said what was on her mind which was one of her best qualities I think , there was no Insincerity and always truthfulness. She will be missed as my neighbor and friend and my condolences go out to all her Family and her little fur baby Sasha .

Growing up next door to Jan is something I am thankful for. She was a great neighbour and community leader, coaching countless kids on the softball field over the years - me included. Janice was a major part of my childhood. We did EVERYTHING with Janice. Fishing, ball, board games, poker after Sunday church with her mom.. countless hours spent playing in the playhouse.. just hanging out! She sure is loved by so many, she’ll be dearly missed.
