Macumber (Young), Rosalie Pearl – 89 of Windsor formerly of Burlington, passed away Sunday, January 29th, 2023, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Burlington on January 17th, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Laurie and Leta (Card) Young. Rosalie will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother; as she cherished and loved her family deeply. She was an active and respected member in her community, frequently sharing her delicious baked goods and many other selfless acts of kindness. Rosalie enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and showing off her green thumb, displaying her beautiful houseplants in the living room. Rosalie is survived by daughter; Jocelyn (Leo; predeceased) Cochrane of Fuquay-Varina NC, sons; Loran (Beth) of Burlington NS, Blair (Louise) of Worcester MASS, grandchildren; Ian, Meg, Lindsay and Lisa, 5 greatgrandchildren, sister; Hazel Harvey of Windsor NS and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Rosalie is predeceased by husband Bob, sister Juanita Gallant, granddaughter Traci Cochrane, brothers; Winton Young, Fred Young and Bob Young. There will be a service held in July 2023, date pending, in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. A Reception will follow the service in the Centre Burlington Community Hall. A Private Family Committal will take place in the Card Beach Rd. Cemetery.
