Obituary of Michael Glenn Wile

WILE - Michael Glenn, age 44, of Ellershouse. With saddened and heavy hearts, we announce Mike's sudden tragic passing on July 9, 2018 in Halifax. Born on April 15, 1974, he was the eldest son of Brian (Yin Wah) Wile and Cheryl (Bill) Banfield. Known as “Gyke” to most, Mike enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and fishing. He didn’t hunt much but loved to go to the camp with his younger brother and the boys. Mike was a wonderful, loving fiancé to Alysen, and father to Allie, Alex, and Alexia. He was so proud of his children; they were his world, along with the rest of his family and friends, with whom he loved spending time.  Mike is also survived by his brother, Steven (Nicole), niece, Baylie; step-niece Brooke; step-nephews Connor and Kyle; stepsister Debby Pulsifer (Doug), stepbrothers Michael (Terry) Eldridge and Kenneth (Yvonne) Eldridge; mother of Allie and Alex, Rhonda MacPherson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his beloved dog, Onslow. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13 from 7-9pm at the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, with a funeral service on Saturday, July 14 at 2pm at the Kempt United Baptist Church, Summerville, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Private interment, with a reception at the Centre Burlington Hall following the service.
