Obituary of Delores Lorraine Terris

Delores Lorraine “Dolly” Terris – age 70, of Windsor, passed away on August 5, 2018 at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor from a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on October 13, 1947 in Truro, she was a daughter of Kathleen McCormack and the late Ronald Joseph McCormack Sr. Delores enjoyed camping, travelling, spending time with family and friends and her little dog Suzie, and stopping at every yard sale along the way. She will be sadly missed by all. Delores is survived by her loving husband, Murray; her mother, Kathleen; children, Lorraine Carey (Rick), Kentville; Darren Carey (Sherry), Berwick; Denice Carey, Kentville; and Pam Sanford (Shane), Dartmouth; her siblings, Lee McCormack, Weston; Carolyn (Joe) Dominey, Coldbrook; Ronald McCormack, Dartmouth; Ellen (Raymond) Comeau, Church Point; Randy McCormack, Morristown; Irene (Leonard) Lohnes, Black Rock; Darlene (Arnie) Brown, Cambridge; Wanda (Garnet) Wentzell, Enfield; Karen (Scott) Lloyd, Coldbrook; and Darrell (Crystal) McCormack, Coldbrook; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her sisters Brenda (Larry) Smith and Sandra (Gary) Bennett. Cremation has taken place; a time of sharing and remembrance will be held on Thursday, August 9 from 2-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Windsor, with interment at a later date.
