WHITE - Hazel Linden, age 86, of Truro, formerly of Noel Road, passed away on September 20, 2018 at The Mira in Truro with her family by her side. Born on March 6, 1932 in Noel Road to the late Alfred L. and Linden (Barron) White, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Hazel enjoyed knitting, quilting, and playing Bingo, and loved family gatherings. She always welcomed others, saying “the more the merrier" and "there is always room for one more.” Hazel is survived by her sons, Randall (Heather), Norman (Janet), Rennie (Judy), and Lloyd (Colleen); her daughter, Susan (Keith) Rhyno; daughter-in-law Edie White; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Alfred S. White, son Andy, and grandson Joey White. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request; a graveside service open to everyone will be held on Sunday, September 30 at 2pm at Kennetcook Cemetery, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating, with a reception to follow at the White Hall, Noel Road.
