Huskins-Edward Franklyn- 72 of Riverside Corner passed away peacefully on June 21st, 2019 at home. Born March 26th, 1947 in Liverpool Nova Scotia, Ed was the son of the late Carl and Pearl (Woodworth) Huskins.
Ed worked in construction most of his life and finished his career as a superintendent with Ocean Contractors. He was an avid gardener and loved taking long drives all around the province, especially to see the apple blossoms and the fall leaves.
Ed is survived by wife Irene (Maclean) Huskins; Daughter, Eleanor; Grandson, Noah Chapman; Son-in-law, Paul Chapman; Sisters, Betty Barlett, Carolyn Fillis and Joanne Huskins.
Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by request. Donations in memory of Ed can be made to the Nova Scotia diabetes association.
