To Sylvia's family, our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Sylvia was an amazing woman...a devoted mother, dedicated community person and long time volunteer. I always enjoyed meeting her and chatting whether at parent teacher nights, community events or when she volunteered to work the hospital gift shop for our HCH Aux. which she did for a long time. So friendly, caring and interested....she will be missed.

So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a real fixture at the Windsor Elms and I miss seeing her there already. Always smiling and walking around dressed up in her coat and matching hat. Every time we would visit my mom Alice Spencer from Meadowview 2 she would see us by the tv and come over to say “hi”. My boyfriend Garnet King would tease her and she would smile. Sending our deepest sympathy to all.

Sylvia was a very dear friend to Richard's mother for many years. And hence, a special friend to all of us. I also met up with her regularly at the Gift Shop at the hospital for little chats and catch ups. Our condolences to all of you.

Was saddened to hear of her passing. Being her age I grew up with her in the years she lived in Poplar Grove. Changes for both of us after school days
kept us focused on everything those years included.
To all who knew and loved her sincere sympathy

I have many memories of Sylvia. She was a great friend and neighbour. I had many cups of tea with her and lots of conversations. When I had surgery she came and did housework for me and kept me company. I know there are many more that she showed similar acts of kindness to. My condolances to all the Dearman family. She loved you very much.
I am so grateful for her friendship over many years.

Regardless of where you met Sylvia she always took the time to stop for a chat. She would ask about the family and how everyone was doing, rarely missing a name of one of the 6 of us. During these conversations the laughter would come out. She was mom’s crossword companion and between the two of them they would solve most of the puzzles with little difficulty. Sylvia loved life and her family most of all. Rest easy Sylvia you will be missed.
