I am so sorry for your loss. Ruthie was such a dear sweet lady. I went fishing with the folks last summer and helped Ruthie. She was so excited when we caught a fish right away! That will always be a favorite memory for me.

Shirley and I express our Sincere, Heartfelt Condolences to Ruthie’s Family and Friends. She was a Great Lady who was a friend to everyone. Whenever Shirley and I would go visit her and Artie, there was always a Fantastic Card Game happening, with a lot of Fun and Laughter during the Games. She loved to win and would always blame Artie and I for cheating if she didn’t. We so enjoyed our times together. She had a lot of Love for my Brother and Life in general. There is a Poetry Morning that only exists because Ruthie made it happen and She never missed a session.
I will miss her.

Condolences to Star, Mike, Nancy, Howard and Shawn on the loss of your Mom. She was a very special lady. Ruthie was full of life and kindness right to the end. My Mother and Ruthie were great friends for years. Raised their families together and shared many memories. I have so many great memories of Ruthie. How we use to borrow each others clothes(that was the best)and she made the Best chocolate cookies . that were always on hand when she knew I was coming to visit.Our phones when we shared the gossip .
She was my favourite Aunt and she will be so missed!

my first memory and the thing i think of first is poetry and her zest for life --her ability to put a meal together at the drop of a hat --my last was visiting her at willow lodge and she and mike doing poetry and even having one of her nurses read as well---she surely will be missed

When Rennie was on the plow, he’d see Ruthie walking in all kinds of weather. I never got to know her until her husband came to the Mira where Rennie’s mum was. She was the kindest lady so interesting and full of life.

I have so many great memories how when I was teenager we would trade clothes(she borrow a lot of mine).My favourite cookies always made when I came to visit . Chocolate drop cookies with chocolate frosting and the best macaroni n tomatoes.
Our phone calls when I was out of province she was a treasure and still is my treasure!!
I could not have asked for such a special person to be my Aunt & I am so blessed she was mine..
