My sympathy to Violet’s family. Her property was adjacent to my parent’s where I grew up in Scotch Village. She is part of my memories of that generation and many ways of their era: smelt fishing at Aunt Edie and Uncle Earle’s, playing with Bev when we were young, always outside running around. So many things have changed.

I admired her zest for living. When people offered her help because of her age, she felt quite capable of looking after herself. I visited her in hospital about a year ago and she was anxious to go back to the Manning and continue her normal life. Amazing lady indeed !!!!

My deepest sympathy to you Harley Cheryle and all her family. We were all so blessed to have her in our lives . My mom stella Barkhouse called her nearly every night. She told me everytime I talked to her after mom passed how much she missed her calls. They shared many laughs and tears together.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. I spent many nights at her house with sleepovers with Shirley. Likely giving her a hard time lol ...A special aunt.
Love Linda Walker

Thoughts going to Harley and family.
I worked with Violet at the Masonic Home in Windsor. She was very nice to me considering I was 17 and had no experience at all working with seniors. She was always there to show me the ropes. Rest in peace dear lady
