Green, Minnie Rebecca-95, North Noel Road, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, in Vimy Court, Bible Hill Born November 8, 1929, in Riverside Corner, Minnie was a daughter of the late John and Nina (Lighten) Rines.

Minnie enjoyed playing cards and bingo and loved being a great cook for entertaining her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Minnie is survived by her children Carol (Greg), Dawson Creek, B.C., Laurie, Houston, B.C., Phillip (Anne), Five Mile River and Vernon at home, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her twin sister Marion Rines, Kennetcook, Eveline Whitehead, Bible Hill and Annie Hennigar, Calgary.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband Wilfred, grandson Matthew and her siblings Frank, Elroy, Kenneth, Hazel Campbell, Nora Steward, Norris 'Peter", Harris, Abner, William "Bill" and Lillian McLellan.

Cremation has taken place, a visitation will be held Wednesday March 12, 2025, from 6-8 pm, a memorial service will be held at 11 am March 13, 25 both in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354, Kennetco0k and following the service everyone is invited to the Green Hall for a time of light refreshments. Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating, with a private family burial at a later date.
