Obituary of Elizabeth White

White, Elizabeth Ann (Libbie) 62 of Upper Kennetcook passed away peacefully in Upper Stewiacke on March 9,2025. Born in Halifax on September 15, 1962. Libbie was the oldest of 2 daughters to the late Robert & Janie (Beach) White. Anyone who knew Libbie knew she would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She loved listening to the “Beaches “singing and picking their guitars! As everyone knew her short term memory was pretty bad, but that long term memory wow!! She could remember birthdays phone numbers!! And would call to sing happy birthday to all her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins! Family meant more to her then anything! She enjoyed playing darts, a good game of washer toss, and cards with family to the early hours of the morning. Most of all she enjoyed watching her 2 nieces grow into the beautiful ladies they became she loved them to no end. Libbie is survived by her Sister Pam (Mark) Niece’s Josie and Monica, and many Aunts, Uncles & cousins. Libbie is predeceased by her parents Robert and Janie White, Stepfather Henry White Cremation has taken place and respecting Libbie’s wishes there will be no visitation, a graveside committal service will be held for Libbie, her mother Janie and stepfather Henry in May (time and date to be announced later) in the North Noel Road Cemetery Donations in Libbie’s Memory can be made to the cancer society or of one’s choosing.
