Agnes Ruth "Nancy" Postma

It is with great sorrow that the family of Nancy (Greene) Postma, is sharing with you the news about her passing on April 10, 2025, at the age of 83. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great Grandmother. She was surrounded by her loving family holding her hand at the time of her passing. She will be missed but not forgotten. During her lifetime Nancy was a telephone operator, teacher and for the better part of her life she was devoted to being a potter and the business owner of Postma Pottery. Nancy Postma’s pottery was known to have been distributed worldwide. She left a legacy of her family and her pottery.

Born in Centre Burlington, Hants County, NS as the daughter of the late Charles R Greene and Frances M (Hardiman) Greene. She has left behind her husband of 65 years Menze "Menno" Postma. Nancy also left behind a son Greg (Karen), Postma, and daughter Annette (Max) Bennett. She was blessed with many Grandchildren: Krystal (Matthew), Katelyn (David), Cassie, Nick, Jessica (Dan), Raymond, Adam and Amanda as well as many Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Nancy was also survived by a brother Jim Greene.

Nancy was predeceased by an infant son Charles P Postma, Brother - Duncan Greene, Sister - Betty Dalton, and her parents Charles Greene and Frances Greene.

A Celebration of Life was held on April 12, 2025.
