To Betty's family: Please accept my sincere condolences on Betty's passing. My husband, Ken is also resident of Halliburton Place and I always loved to stop and have a chat with Betty when I came in to visit. She had a wonderful sense of humour and loved a good joke. Bette and our Mom lived in the apartment building on Tremaine crescent along with Norma Eldridge. Then the three of them ended up living in Haliburton place together! What a hoot when those three were together! RIP Bette. Cherish the memories.

Sending my sincere condolences to you all. You don’t know me but I have had many conversations with Betty over the last 2ish years. I even met a couple of her family members once on FaceTime briefly. My Nan is at Haliburton. I go weekly to visit her and always stopped for a conversation with “my golden girls” on my way to my Nan’s room and on the way back. Betty was one of my three favourites. I would sometimes bring them treats and take requests. Her sense of humour kept you on your toes and always entertained. I will miss our weekly chats and laughs. I would tell “my golden girls” to behave themselves and if they couldn’t behave, then just not to get caught. I will miss her.
