Betty "Bette" Benedict Obituary
BENEDICT - BETTY “BETTE” JEAN- 81, passed away on April 19, 2025, at Mayflower Meadows (Haliburton Place), Windsor, Nova Scotia. Born in Newport Station, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Flynn and Audrey (Porter) Cochrane and stepdaughter of the late Norman Cochrane.
Bette is survived by her daughter Susan (Stephen) Underwood; son Douglas Benedict; grandchildren Andrew, Brandon and Liam; great-grandsons Cade and Burke.
Besides her parents, Bette is predeceased by her husband, Lester Archibald “Archie”, and brothers Frank, Edward “Buck”, and Wayne.
Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by request.
A warm and heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Mayflower Meadows, you are all truly amazing and Bette loved you all.
