It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Gale Ann (Ward) Burgess of Riverside Corner Friday May 9, 2025, in the Colchester East Hants Health Center, Truro. Gale died peacefully with all her family by her side.

Gale was the loving wife of Lawrence "Larry" Burgess and Mother of Justin (Britany) and Kayla.

Gale has left behind many to mourn her passing including grandchildren - Parker and Leah, Sister - Sandra Comeau, Brothers - Stephen (Karen) Ward and twin brother Dale (Carolyn) Ward and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Gale is predeceased by her parents Russell and Marilyn Ward, Parents-in-law Hughie and Minnie Burgess, Brother and sister-in-law, George and Karleen Mingle and Great nephew Kaden Ward.

Gale worked at Canada Post for well over 25 years. She loved her family and friends. She loved life in general. Gale loved playing washer toss and spending time at the family camp with family and friends. She loved the outdoors camping and fishing and was always up for a good laugh.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family burial in the Kennetcook Cemetery, Kennetcook on May 31, 2025.

There will be a celebration of life on May 31, 2025, from 1 - 3 in the Kennetcook Fire Hall, Kennetcook and a private family committal service in the Kennetcook Cemetery, Kennetcook, Darryl Dykens officiating.
