"Do all the good you can,
In all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can."
John Wesley
This is a great description of Gale. She did good for as long as she could. She has left a legacy of love. She spoke often with love about her family. Her husband Larry, her daughter Kayla, her son Justin, daughter-in-law Britt, grandchildren Leah and Parker, twin brother Dale and best friend Carolyn. Sister Sandra and brother Stephen. Her dog. Her friends and family.
Gale had a beautiful heart, eyes, smile, and voice. Gale Ann Burgess was a kind-hearted woman. She was proud of her history of family working for Canada Post and used an cloth mail bag to collect mail. Gale was an incredible and amazing person who spoke words of kindness over and about others.
The Maitland Post office will never be the same without her. Thank you Gale for leaving us with the memories of you! You are so missed.
My heart with with Gale's family and friends.

Dear Larry, Kayla, Justin, Brittany, Parker and Leah,
It’s hard to lose someone you love, but even harder still when that person is your wife, Mom, and a very special grandmother, whose place no one can fill.
Each life is a miracle that has a ripple effect on so many and Gale was that miracle. Gale had so many close friends that she also thought of as family.
In our younger years, sometimes we got into mischief on the farm, but Uncle Russell was always on our side
and gave us fair warning when Grampy was coming into the barn. We would quickly hide in the hay and tried to be quiet…..with Gales laughter, sometimes that was hard to do!!!
Our family moved out west when I was eleven. All the times we went back either with my Mom and Dad or just by myself, Gale welcomed me with open arms and carried on as if we had seen each other the day before. I can hear Gale say “ now Sharon” with a smile on her face and then hear her laughter. Many times we sat in the farm house with kittens and Gale helping my Mom with her knitting balls.
One time we came to visit and Gale and Larry had a special surprise for us. They had found 2 bikes, and Gale and Larry fixed them up for our sons, Sean and Ryan , so they could ride them downhome. My kids were 5 and 7 at the time, now they are 46 and 48 and they still remember the gift they got from Gale and Larry.
Gale will be remembered as you share your stories and memories, how very much she meant to each and everyone of you, family and friends.
Be gentle with yourselves.
In loving remembrance of my cousin Gale, who was so very special and who touched so many people in her lifetime, beloved by all.
Our deepest sympathy and condolences

I have fond memories of Gale, playing down at the farm when we were kids. Kittens come to mind. We once were in the big barn sitting on bales of hay and watched the mother cat caring for her kittens. Gale always seemed to show me kindness and gentleness that has impacted me for all these years since childhood.

My deepest condolences to all of Gale's family, but especially to Justin and Kayla. I had the privilege of being their teacher for grade primary. It was during these school years that I got to know Gale. She was everything a mom should be and more. Over the years I would bump into her from time to time on her mail route to Maitland. We always had a pleasant chat and a few chuckles.
Remember grief is just another dimension of love! Hugs.
