Jeanette "Jean" Nappi Obituary

Jeanette “Jean” (Matheson) Nappi-95, of Jupiter, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, at Amazing Grace Assisted Living facility in West Palm Beach. Born in Londonderry, Nova Scotia on March 5, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Myrtle (Lewis) Matheson.

She is survived by her son Greg, grandson Geoffrey Wilimek and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Nicki and brother Carl.

Jean had fond memories of growing up in Londonderry and was very proud of her heritage. She adored her Mother and Father. Jean loved animals especially her miniature pinchers. She has owned seven over the years, the last of which was Pipi. Jean loved to travel and did so extensively, exploring all corners of the globe, experiencing all its wonders and cultures.

Jean carved out a very successful business for herself in Portland Maine with Victor Better Business Services, at a time when women were not expected to succeed in business. She was a philanthropist, donating generously to many charities and worthy causes. Her later years were spent in San Diego and in Jupiter Florida enjoying life in her beautiful condo at the passages. But she kept the family home in Londonderry returning frequently.

A graveside committal will be held at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Londonderry. N.S. on June 20,25 at11 am. Rain location, Londonderry Community Center
