Michelle Lynn Hood, 36, of Halifax, formerly Union Corner, N.S., passed away on July 24, 2025 in Halifax.

Born in Halifax, N.S. on May 17, 1989, Michelle was the daughter of Kevin & Sherrie (Smith) Hood.

Besides her parents, Michelle is survived by her children Danica, Omari, Uriah, Elijah and Avereigh Wile of Union Corner; brothers Shawn (Ashley); Glen (Lee-Ann); Nephews, Brayden, Austin, Lane, Casen and Rhett Hood, Grandmother Ellen (Tibbetts) Smith. She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Robert Smith, paternal grandparents, Gerald and Doreen (Graves) Hood

Celebration of life will be held at the Centre Burlington Hall on Aug 9 from 2-4 with Graveside service following at Hillview Cemetery, Scotch Village.
