We regret that we are unable to join you for your Dad’s celebration of life today. We have thought of him often since he moved back to his home country, and have missed him when we gathered in Forbes church.

Dear Anne, I am sad that your father’s wonderful life has ended. I shall think of you as you grieve your loss while also celebrating his life. From our small village of Kennetcook he certainly accomplished much in the wider world. I wanted to also add that your mother Julie was special to me. She was my Music teacher at Hants North all those years ago. I haven’t been able until now to tell you that Julie was responsible for giving me the courage to believe that I could sing in a choir setting! Anne, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. He was a very special Marble Mountain friend for so many years. I am reminded of him every day, as I use the pieces of furniture from his Mountain Road home, which he gave to me when I replaced my old trailer with a new little house.
