O. Madeline “Madge” White - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She passed peacefully on Dec.7, 2025 at the Lillian Fraser Hospital, Tatamagouche.

Madge was born in Kennetcook on July 17, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Florence (MacHardie) Wood.

Madge worked for MT&T for 25 years. She enjoyed playing guitar, singing, dancing and loved family get togethers.

She is survived by her partner Bert McCulloch; daughters Pam (David), Sherry (Glendon);

Grandsons - Jordan (Sam), Robin (Michelle), Ryan (Jackie), Jeremy (Brittany);

Great-grandchildren- Ayla, Scarlett, Rory, Ivy and Spencer as well as several nieces & nephews.

She is also survived by Bert’s children- Ron (Susie), Rick (Mavis) & Rob, her sister

Dorothy McCulloch, sister in-law Gwen Wood, daughter in-law Elizabeth White.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her son Danny, brother Royce and sister Elsie.

Cremation has taken place with no visitation or reception per Madge’s request.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Madge can be made to the Hants North Food Bank or a charity of your choosing.

Funeral services will be held on Monday Dec.15th at 2pm in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, 6571 Highway 354 Kennetcook, NS.
