LAKE, Eva Karlene, age 93, of Windsor, NS, formerly of Cambridge, Hants Co, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Geneva (Mills) Lake.

She was a strong woman of faith, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be missed terribly by everyone that knew her.

Eva is survived by her daughters, Priscilla Bayliss, Hamilton, Ont.; Lois Cox, Windsor, NS; Eunice (Brad) Smith, Burlington, NS; Becky (Andre) Levesque, Massey, Ont.; and Julie (Arnold) Webber, Cambridge, NS; her son, Danny (Susan) Lake, Tantallon, NS; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Eva was predeceased by her daughter, Debbie (John) Faulkner and son, Tommy (Kim) Lake.

Visitation will be on February 4, 2:00-4:00 pm and the Celebration of Life will be on February 5, 2:00 pm. Both will be held at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Homes, 4646 Highway 215, Summerville Hants Co, NS, with Rev. James Haughn Officiating. The interment will be at High Head Cemetery, Cambridge, Hants County. Immediately following the interment, there will be a reception at the Cambridge Christian Assembly, 8369 NS-215 Hants County. All are welcome.

Special thanks to the Hants Community Hospital ER nurses and 2nd floor nurses who took excellent care of our mother during her final days on earth. Donations in memory of Eva may be made to High Head Cemetery.
