Emma Maud Brown – 89 of Northwood Manor, Halifax, Formerly of Sackville NS, passed away on February 21, 2026, in Northwood Manor, Halifax NS.
Born April 2, 1936 in Noel Road, she was the daughter of the late James and Floreda (Ettinger) White.
Emma was a military wife living many places, in Canada and Europe. Mom loved gardening, crocheting, sewing, baking and especially her family.
Emma is survived by her daughter Lois, Middle Sackville, grand children Amanda (Sean) King, Saint John N.B. Jessica, Middle Sackville, Harley, Fall River, great-grandchildren Hannah, Evan, Kayden, Ace, sister-in-law Isabelle Brown, many nieces and nephews.
Emma is predeceased by husband Phillip Brown, son David, long time companion George Crowe, brothers Gilbert, Gilmore, Elroy, Brice, Alfred, Rawleigh and sister Leola Anthony.
A traditional funeral with visitation will be held in the spring 2026, date and location to be announced.
