With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Donald Gordon Langley, age 62, of Walton, on April 23, 2026.

Born on November 19, 1963, in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Don was the son of Donald and the late Sandra (O’Brien) Langley.

Don was also predeceased by his stepmother, Maxine; and his sister, Donna.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his devoted wife, Angie; his children, Colton (Carolina), Cody (Leah), and Marley (Ben); and his cherished grandchildren, Sean, Theodore (Teddy), and Madelyn. He also leaves behind his loyal little dog, Festus.

Don is also survived by his sisters, Mary and Paula (Tracy); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Don found his greatest joy in the simple things—casting a line while bass fishing at Clark’s Beach with a cold beer in hand, deer hunting, 4-wheeling, watching NASCAR, listening to John Prine, enjoying classic westerns, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends. In his younger years, he worked as a laborer across a variety of fields, always known for his hardworking nature. Don was always willing to give a helping hand where he could and always had a joke to share.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 1:00pm at the Riverside Cemetery, New Cheverie Rd. A celebration of Don’s life will follow from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Walton Shore Volunteer Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
