We are saddened to announce the passing of Susan Ann Stella Scott,(nee Sampson) 75, of Halifax, formerly of Noel, Nova Scotia. Susan passed away peacefully at her respite home in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on July 28th 2026 surrounded by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Rice, Son in Law Edward Rice, Brother George Dunkerley, Sister in law Elizabeth Dunkerley and Grandchildren Kimberley and Jack Scott.

“She suffered from various health issues through the last years of her life.”

Susan was predeceased by former Husband Kenneth Mabie, as well as her husband Roger Scott, Her parents Jeffrey and Margaret (Gaudet) Sampson and Dad George, as well as siblings Everet, Pam and Wanda and grandson Anderson

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Ann (Edward) Rice, son David, step children Rae (Heather) and Trudy, grandchildren Joshua, Kimberley and Jack , Brothers George , James and Edwin Dunkerley, Kevin Russell, Jeff Samson, sisters Gloria and Linda, sister-in-law Elizabeth Dunkerley and Step Mom Shirley Sampson.and several great Grandchildren .

As per Susan’s wishes there will not be a funeral or any celebration of life services. In Lieu of such, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
