Marion Rines Obituary
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Marion Clarsey Rines, whom they loved so much has been called home to her Lord on August 09, 2026. Born in Riverside Corner on November 8, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John P. And Nina (Leighten) Rines.
Marion devoted her life to her family and friends and everyone she new. She worked most of her life cooking in camps, Nursing Homes and in her later years looking after her parents.
She enjoyed a great game of cards as well as bingo.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
Marion had many friends and left an impression on everyone she met.
She is survived by her sons Elroy 'Tom" (Louise) Rines and Victor Green, also grandchildren Jamie, Bernard, Jason and Rachel, great grandchildren Matthew, Scott, Symptha, Brayden, Kaylee and Quinn, step grandchildren Douglas, Tony and Margo, step granddaughters Alexx Cooke, Emily Hamm, Alana Ashley and Tiffany.
She is also survived by sister Eveline Whitehead
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Bill, Frank, Elroy, Kenneth, Norris "Peter" Harris and Abner, her twin sister Minnie Green, Hazel Campbell, Lillian MacLellan, Annie Hennigar and Nora Steward.
Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request, a celebration of life will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354 Kennetcook, following the service a private family committal service in the Kennetcook Cemetery, Kennetcook.
Donations in memory of Marion can be made to the Kennetcook Cemetery.
