It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Priscilla Baker, age 73, on August 12, 2026, at the Valley Regional Hospital.

Born and raised in Bramber, Hants County, Fran lived a life filled with family, friendship, laughter, and adventure. She was known for her kind heart, brave spirit, and wonderful sense of humour.

Fran was always out running the roads, whether it was visiting friends and family, doing some shopping, or simply getting out to take in the sights. She loved being on the go and enjoyed the simple moments of seeing people she cared about and making memories along the way.

Above all else, Fran treasured her family and pets. She loved her granddaughters beyond words and took great pride in watching them grow. Her love extended to her great-grandsons, who brought her tremendous joy. Fran also loved spending time with her best friend Leona Lake.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, William Frank Baker; her daughter, Terri Herbert; step children; Joan Baker, Tim Baker, and David Robar, her granddaughters, Allison Herbert (Tre Murray), Kyla Herbert, Renee Herbert (Brenden Smith); and many loved step grandchildren, great-grandsons, Vincent Smith, Owen Smith, and Theodore Murray.

She was predeceased by Mother Margaret Lantz, Father Archibald Lantz, brother David Lantz as well as husbands, Raymond Hawboldt, and Lionel Mouton.

Fran will be remembered for her laughter, kindness, and courage. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will carry her love with them always.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Bramber Cemetery. Following the service, family and friends are invited to join together for a reception at Bramber New Horizons Hall.

Fran will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her time with us has come to an end, the memories, laughter, and love she gave us will remain in our hearts forever.
