Obituary of Luanne Wile

Please share a memory of Luanne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Wile (McLellan) Alicia “Luanne” – 66 of Windsor, formerly of Tennecape NS, passed away on September 22nd, 2023, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in South Maitland NS on September 13th, 1957, Luanne was the daughter of Anita McLellan and the late Prescot McLellan. Luanne was a true country girl through and through and was proud of it! If she wasn’t going for a drive in a Ford with her favourite country tunes playing; then it wasn’t worth going for a drive. Luanne loved spending time with her family and friends and engaging in conversation and laughs; if she had something on her mind, she would certainly let you know without sugarcoating it, some may say she had a mouth like a sailor but definitely a heart of gold. Luanne is survived by Mother Anita; nephew Nick; great-nephews Bryden, Nathan and Ryland; great-niece Madison; her old buddy Deb, who took care of Luanne for 31 years. Besides her father, Luanne is predeceased by sister in infancy Erma Joy, brother Dwayne and nephew Devin. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Dykeland Lodge for making Luanne’s last few years comfortable and happy. A Graveside Committal Service will take place on Friday, September 29th, 2023, at 1pm in the Tennecape Cemetery, Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating. Donations in memory of Luanne can be made to the Tennecape Cemetery fund, c/o Ann Wile , 34 Irven Dr. Garlands Crossing, B0N 2T0 Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the JW Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215 Summerville (Phone 902-633-2431).
