Hennigar, Adeline “Addie” Cecelia – 79 of Enfield formerly of Five Mile River, passed away peacefully on January 8th, 2024, at the Magnolia Continuing Care, Enfield NS. Born in Gormanville NS on October 22nd, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Loran and Emma (Laffin) Neil. Addie was an avid reader and sports fan, she always loved to cheer on her favourite teams, the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs. Addie was able to fulfill a lifetime dream when she and husband Hazen attended a Jays games live in Toronto. Addie had a deep love for all animals, especially her cat Smokey. Addie is survived by children Gail (Andy) of Brookfield, Tony of Dartmouth; grandchildren Emily White, Avery Dykeman; great-granddaughter Madison White; sister Laura White; sister-in-law Doris Neil; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Addie is predeceased by husband Hazen Hennigar, sisters Joyce MacLearn, Doreen Cox, brother Reginald Neil, brother in infancy, father of her children William (Huddy) Gill. Cremation has taken place, there will be a private family burial in the spring for Addie and her husband Hazen in Five Mile River. Donation in memory of Addie can be made to the SPCA.
