Gudger, Laurie Donnis Williams, 66 of Moose Brook NS, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Dartmouth on December 10, 1957, Laurie was the son of the late Bramwell and Mary (Jennings) Gudger. Laurie started out his working career for Harris Rebar, tying steel, later he started his own carpentry-Company. Laurie’s strong work ethic and generosity stretched much further then the workday; he was a dedicated volunteer member of 9 Lives Cat Rescue and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Laurie had a deep passion for working on cars and tinkering with anything mechanically. He loved spending time with family & friends and would never turn down a good feed of lobster or mutton! Laurie is survived by wife of 27 years, Marie; stepchildren Shawn, Carnita and Angela; sisters Linda and Wendy; several nieces and nephews whom he had a special bond with; he will be sorely missed by his constant companion, Tillie. Besides his parents, Laurie is predeceased by sisters Jean and Annette. A Graveside Committal Service will be held in the Moose Brook Cemetery at a later date.
