Vera "Mae" Lake-95, Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth, formerly of Cambridge, Hants Co. passed away on April 4, 2014 in the Windsor Elms Village. Born in Cambridge, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late James and Florence (Dill) Spearing. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mae is survived by her children Valerie (Randy) Cox, Pam O'Leary, Douglas (Jane) Lake and special daughter Paula (Henry) Lake, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Besides her parents Mae was predeceased by her husband Robert "Bob", two sisters and three brothers. No visitation by request. Funeral will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville. Pastor Debby Mosher officating with a private family burial in Highhead Cemetery, Cambridge. Family flowers only, donations can be made to Windsor Elms Village, 174 Dyke Road, Falmouth, N.S. BOP 1LO.
