Dateline: South Rawdon Day, Keith Charles - 49, of South Rawdon, passed away from a short battle with lung cancer on June 10, 2014 at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on November 7, 1964 in Windsor, he was a son of Ceretha (Dean) Walker (Haley) and the late Charles Douglas Day. Keith was the owner of Day's Lawn Care, and enjoyed farming, fishing, photography, and being outdoors. He was a kind and gentle man who cared about those around him. Keith especially loved running the roads with his dog Luna. Keith is survived by long-time companion Donna Benoit; his children, Amanda (Mike) O'Brien, Amie Martin, Dustin (Valerie) Day, Amber (Shane) Dicks, and Derrick Day; sister, Linda (Danny) Harvey; brothers Garnet Day and Kevin (Tammy Wentzell) Day; his grandchildren, Bailey, Alexander, Emma, Victoria, and Hayden; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his father, Keith was predeceased by his sister, Diane Day. Cremation has taken place; a visitation in celebration of Keith's life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 2-4pm at the Brooklyn Civic Centre, Brooklyn, N.S., with a private family interment at a later date.
