Russell, Marguerite Regina - 93, of Falmouth, formerly of Kempt Shore, passed away on June 18, 2014 at the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in Cheverie on March 26, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Norval and Alice (Sanford) Wheaton. Marguerite spent many years working in the United States, but made regular trips back to Nova Scotia, finally moving back in 1992 with her best friend, Poochie. She was a woman of strong character, and was known for her independence. Marguerite is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Cedric; her sisters, Ola and Loretta; and brothers, Lawrence and Blair. Cremation has taken place, with no service by request. A private family interment with be held in the Kempt Shore Church Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks to the staff at the Windsor Elms Village for their excellent care for Marguerite during her stay.
