WHITE, Ellis Randall, age 75, of Minasville, passed away on November 20, 2014 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born on May 29, 1939 in Noel Road, N.S., he was a son of the late Stanley White and Elva Hamilton. Ellis was a welder with Halifax Metalworkers and RKO Steel, working long hours and long weeks for several years. He was an avid fan of both the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays. The family wishes to thank Gary Graves for his care for Ellis over the past few years, and to Dr. Tingley, Dr. Smith, and the nursing staff at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Ellis is survived by his son, Eric (Lisa); his daughters, Carol White and Sheri (Peter) White; his companion of several years, Golda Wright; his stepchildren, Darla (Art), Trinda (Bob), and Tara (Leon); his grandchildren, Erica (Pat) and Evan White; and his brother, David (Shelda) Hamilton. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A private graveside committal service will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 12:30pm at the Moose Brook Cemetery, Moose Brook, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating, followed by a Celebration of Life open to everyone at 1pm in the Minasville Hall, Minasville.
