Dill, Madge Rathbun-96, Cambridge, Hants Co., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on October 16, 2012 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Cheverie on October 10, 1916 she was a daughter of the late John "Jock" and Grace (Rathbun) Burgess and the last surviving member of her immediate family. Madge is survived by her daughter Judy Covey, Sackville, N.S., 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joe (Sept. 2005), daughter Patricia Crowell (Feb 2000) son Laurie (June 2012) brothers Grant, Roy, Frank, Carl, Harold, sisters Marjorie, Mae, Lillian, Alice and Helen. Cremation has taken place with visitation 7-9 p.m. today in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville. A memorial service will be held Friday at 2;30 p.m. in the Kempt United Baptist Church, Summerville, Rev. Betty Parker officating with a private family burial in High Head Cemetery, Cambridge. Donations can be made to High Head Cemetery or charity of choice. Special thank you to all her caregivers and nurses and staff at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor.
