Laffin - Christopher "Aaron": It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher "Aaron" Laffin of East Walton. Aaron was the son of the late Armond and Audrey (White) Laffin. He came into this world on April 21, 1966, and exited stage left on December 15, 2014, surrounded by the family of his choosing. Aaron shared with us his wonderful sense of humour, his love of fishing, hunting, and even the solitude of his hunting camp. He enjoyed any and all outdoor activities. Although his battle was long and difficult, he never lost his smile and faced the end with great dignity. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry (Kaiser); daughter Rebecca, Centre Burlington; stepdaughters Carla (Joey), Cambridge, Hants Co., and Chanessa (Roderick), New Glasgow; 4 grandchildren, Alexa, Joseph, Damion, and Peyton; sisters, Ann, Edith (Onslow), Diane (Bob), Lori (Greg), Cicelia (Calvin), and Lisa (Rick); brother Curtis (Carla); and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Aaron was predeceased by his brothers Rodney, Douglas, Edward, and Gordon. Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service at Aaron's request. A private family committal service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Aaron can be made to the Grace United Church, Walton, or the Faith In Action Church, Walton.
