Andrus, Ethel Mae - 74 , Kennetcook, passed away October 25, 2012 in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Noel Road, she was the daughter of the late Prescott and Edith ( Singer ) White. Ethel worked in Nine Mile River at Green Valley Campgrounds and Riverland Campgrounds. She enjoyed knitting , quilting, and doing crochet work and enjoyed a good social life. She loved her family get togethers and will be dearly missed by them all, as well as her cat "Lily". She is survived by her daughters Pam ( David) White, Charlotte (Clinton Ettinger ) and son Vernon. Granddaughters Becky Sheaves, Stephanie (Matt), and great granddaughter Samantha Sheaves, her siblings Betty White, Perry ( Nellie), Madeline ( Kenny), Adreu ( Whiz), Iris, Aileen ( Johnny), Jack (Mary), sister in law Norie, and brother in law Bruce. She was predeceased by a sister Arleen, brothers Max, Earlin, and Wilfred, brother in law Earl, and sister in law Lucy. Cremation has taken place with visitation October 29,2012 from 7 to 9 pm and a memorial service will be held Tuesday October 30, 2012 at 2 pm both in the J Wilson Allen Funeral home, Hwy 354 Kennetcook. Rev. Angus R MacDonald officating with a private family burial in North Noel Road Cemetery, followed by a reception in the little White Hall, Noel Road.
