Sheila June Green, age 77, of Lower Selma, passed away peacefully at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Born in Stirling Brook on May 28, 1937, she was a daughter of loving parents Kathleen "Dean" (Gorman) Hilchie and the late Ernest Hilchie. Sheila graduated from business college in Windsor, then worked as a secretary in Truro until she married Leonard in 1963. She then ran the family business and became a loving mother and grandmother. Sheila is survived by her husband, Leonard; her son, Edward; grandchildren Ashley, Jordon (Stephanie), and Nathan; great-grandson Seth; her mother, Kathleen; brother Roland (Effie); sister Sandra, and sister-in-law Patra. Sheila was predeceased by her father, Ernest; her brother Brian, and brother-in-law Murray. Cremation has taken place with no service by request; a private family committal will take place in the Lower Selma - Noel Shore Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Sheila may be made to the Lower Selma - Noel Shore Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of J.
