Obituary of Terry White

White, Terry Thomas - age 36, of Upper Rawdon, passed away suddenly at home with his best friend, Rocky, by his side on March 14, 2015. Born in Halifax on May 19, 1978, he was the son of Vanda (Raymond) Neil, Upper Rawdon, and the late Kevin Meehan. Terry enjoyed four-wheeling with his friends and could often be found on the trails between Rawdon and Walton, making his way to the pub for burgers and a cold one. He also loved car races on Sundays, and radio bingo on Tuesday nights. Terry is survived and will be greatly missed by his maternal grandparents, Kitty (Corey) Buchanan, Dutch Settlement, and Paul White (Marie Beach), Noel Road; aunt, Noma White; uncles, Vince (Tammy) White and Darcy (Kim) White; stepsister, Cheryl; niece, Jessie Neil; many cousins; and special friend Linda Hill-Fredericks. Terry will be especially missed by his loyal dog, Brody. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20 at 2pm in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook, Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officiating, with a reception to follow also at the funeral home. A private committal service will take place at a later date. Family flowers only; in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of J.
