Dodge - Angus John. It is with sadness that we must announce the peaceful passing of Angus John Dodge of Brooklyn. Angus passed away at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, at the age of 81 on April 15, 2015, with his family and wife of 53 years by his side. Born in Brooklyn on August 20, 1933, he was the son of the late Warden and Hattie (Wood) Dodge. Angus loved hunting at the camp and fishing. He will be remembered as the water truck man, and successful businessman with Dodge's Lucky Dollar and Newport Home Furnishings. He loved his home-cooked meals, and his love of cats was forced on by his wife! Angus will be sadly missed by his wife, June (Rhodes) of Brooklyn; children, Sandra (Reid) Church of Mackay Section, and Kenneth (Sylvia) Dodge of Woodville; grandchildren Duane (Tara) of Brooklyn, Deven (Stephanie) of Brooklyn, Jason (Chantal) of Greenhill, Lisa (Robin) of Gypsum Mines, Tab (Steph) of Lucasville, and Kimberly (Jeremy) of Sackville; along with 14 great-grandchildren; his niece, and a special cousin, Ola. Angus was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah; sister Inez, of Georgia; brother Lewis, of Calgary; son-in-law Dane, and brother-in-law Bob. No visitation by request. A private family committal service will be held at the St. Croix Cemetery, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville, ph-1-902-633-2431 or please visit our web site at www.allenfh.ca to sign the guest book or send private condolences.
