Obituary of Donald Wile

Wile, Donald Richmond, age 86, of Upper Burlington, formerly of Bramber. It is with great sorrow that we, the family, announce the passing of our father, grandfather, and brother on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Falmouth on June 10, 1928, he was the son of the late George and Annabelle (Brown) Wile. Don worked as a paint supervisor for many years. He worked for J. I. Hass Painting Company, New York; Parker Brothers, Halifax; and ended his working days at National Sea. Don loved his wife, Eileen, and his family. He will be missed by all, especially by his little dog, Keegan. Don is survived by his sons, Gary (Karen), Donald (Barb), Brian (Yin Wah), James, and Ralph (Sonia); his daughters, Brenda (Bob) Miller, Sharon Wile, and Maureen (Bruce) Hartlin; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; his brother, Ralph Wile Sr.; and his sister, Norma Staples. Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by his wife, Eileen; his brother, Bert Wile; and his sisters, Gladys Foley and Violet Keddy. Cremation has taken place, with no visitation by request. A private family committal service will be held at the Bramber Cemetery, Pastor Burton Walsh officiating.
