SINGER - Albert Alton, 52, of West Gore, passed away on June 10, 2015 at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, with his loving family by his side. Born in Truro on December 22, 1962, he was the youngest son of Minnie (Dearman) and the late Floyd Singer. Besides his mom, Albert is survived by his brothers, Murray (Joanne), Roddy (Betty), and Stephen (Wanda); his sisters, Shirley (Ralph MacDonald), Donna (Vernon Bartlett), Wanda (Dave Sexton), and Sherril (Trevor Joudrey). Albert had a love in his heart for all the children in his life, which showed in his teasing and smiles with his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and his buddy Owen. Albert was predeceased by his father and his brothers Randall and Roger. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Friday, June 12 from 7-9pm, with a memorial service on Saturday, June 13 at 2pm, both held at the West Gore Disciple Church, Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officiating. Following the service there will be a committal in the West Gore Cemetery and a reception at the Gore District Fire Hall. Family flowers only; donations in memory of Albert may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. Thank you to all the Palliative Care staff at the Hants Community Hospital.
