Obituary of Gordon McCulloch

McCulloch, Gordon Patrick - 81, of Shortts Lake, Brookfield, NS, died peacefully at the QE II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, surrounded by his family. Born in North Noel Road on February 13, 1934, he was the son of the late Rosslyn and Marion McCulloch. Gordon was a former businessman who loved flying, gardening, hunting, golfing and spending time at his condo in Ft. Myers, Florida. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Wood) and their five children, Deborah (Barron) Blois, Crystal (Ken) Burns, Shelly (Earle) Atkinson, Kendall (Gail) McCulloch and Tami-Lynn White, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his sisters Joyce MacPhee, Marilyn Monk, Alice (Ron) MacPhee, Joanne (Phil) MacBeth and brother, David McCulloch. Cremation has taken place, with no visitation or service at Gordon's request; a private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Nova Scotia SPCA.
